JOHN MICHAEL HEATH

AUTHOR/MUSIC HISTORIAN/MEGA-COLLECTOR John is a pop music historian from Arkansas, with a degree in art education. Growing up near Memphis, Tennessee, he developed a keen interest in the music of Sun Records, and Elvis Presley in particular. He is the author of three books about Elvis, including “Memphis Recording Service 1953-1954: The Beginning of Elvis Presley,” “The Birth of Rock N’ Roll,” and “Memphis Recording Service 1955: The Rise of Elvis Presley.” John is an avid collector of artifacts from the early Rock N’ Roll and Soul eras of American popular music. Having a long history in the Elvis collecting world, his familial collection is among the largest and most varied in the world, and his authentication skill has been sought after by a great number of Elvis memorabilia auctions over the years.

JAMIE KELLEY

SINGER/SONGWRITER/PRODUCER/ACTOR Having been a part of the Elvis fan world since birth, Jamie initially expressed his fandom through musical performance, starting at the age of three. This eventually led to his own solo career as a performer and recording artist in his own right, and eventually an actor, songwriter, and audiovisual producer. His song “You’re Mine Tonight” won “Best Rockabilly song of 2006” in the JPF Independent Music Awards, and “The Sun Also Rises, Vol. 1”, the album it came from, was a top finisher for “Best Rockabilly Album” of the same year. His voice has been featured on countless products all over the world, and his albums have had none other than The Jordanaires, “Boots” Randolph, “Buddy” Harmon, D.J. Fontana, Bob Moore, Millie Kirkham, David Briggs, Jimmy Capps, and many other legendary artists.

THE ELVIS ARCHIVAL PRESERVATION SOCIETY

WELCOME TO THE SOCIETY! The Elvis Archival Preservation Society is a YouTube channel and audiovisual podcast experience - and so much more. Dedicated to the preservation of Elvis history, artifacts, and information, Jamie & John bring a deeper perspective into all things in the world of Elvis Presley. Meet the founding members of the new iteration of the society, and become a member to further the preservation cause and get lots of great benefits, too!
STORY BIRTH AND REBIRTH OF THE ELVIS ARCHIVAL PRESERVATION SOCIETY Initially, the EAP Society was formed from Jamie and a group of close friends who had the goal of getting together to enjoy and preserve Elvis history in any way they could. That goal came a step closer when one of the initial members, Mark Shaffer, came across a never-before-heard performance by Elvis in Meridian, MS, 1955. Jamie confirmed that it was unreleased, and helped get this to Sony/BMG/RCA for release on the FTD collector’s label, and eventually in a wider public world-wide release “A Boy From Tupelo,” and thus the EAP Society helped save a piece of Elvis history for fans everywhere! Now, the newly-formed 2nd iteration of the EAP Society broadens that scope, as Jamie and John put forth their YouTube channel and audiovisual podcast to showcase and discuss Elvis stories, artifacts, and memorabilia, with the larger goal of preserving the memories and stories from that era to today - as well as visual content and artifacts in the best quality possible for fellow historically-minded fans to enjoy. In addition, they will dive deep into multiple aspects of Elvis history and fandom to uncover information many fans have never heard before, and bring a fresh perspective to both new and known parts of the Elvis world. ALL WHILE HAVING A LOT OF FUN DOING IT - AND YOU’RE INVITED TO JOIN!
