EAP SOCIETY The Elvis Archival Preservation Society’s motto is “Making Sure Elvis History Is Not Lost To History,” and from helping Sony find unheard Elvis recordings to doing deep-dives into Elvis’ life and music to bring new insights into Elvis the man and Elvis the artist, the EAP Society has done just that since 2002. Re-started in 2022 by founder Jamie Aaron Kelley with a YouTube channel and fellow historian John Michael Heath, the EAP Society live events exist as another means for the Society to build the resources needed to continue that motto to the fullest extent possible - while also seeking to support the Elvis Fan community and worthwhile causes in any way that it can. So when you support an EAP Society Event, you’re also helping them preserve Elvis history!

The original Elvis Weeks were all about fans helping fans, so if you have something you’d like to bring in as part of the Summer Festival, let us know, and we’ll see if if fits with what we’re doing! And if you have footage from the original Elvis Weeks of the 70s to the early 00s you’d like to share, get in touch with us - because we also want to share those memories with fans of all generations!

In Memory Of Mary Beck One of the hardest-working Elvis Fans who held events in Memphis was Mary Jo Beck. She juggled a lot in her life to keep the performances at Dad’s Place going each year, and both the fans and the performers were very glad she did. Sadly, Mary passed away on June 30th, 2020. We have kept much of the Summer Festival as we have in her honor, for everything she did for the performers and ETAs who came to Memphis over the years. She may be gone, but she will not be forgotten!
